I have received a battery-powered device, but the batteries are partially discharged or 'flat.


Many of our battery-powered devices ship with batteries included.

In the some cases the batteries supplied may not be fully charged. We do not stock replacement batteries, so in these cases we suggest that you simply replace them with new ones.

We regularly turn our stock and no devices are sitting on the shelf for more than a few weeks (most devices for less than a week). So all devices include batteries that are fresh stock direct from the manufacturer.

The batteries may not be 100% for many reasons - for instance the vendor may order a large quantity of batteries in a single batch and then use this batch for several months, in which case the batteries may be slightly discharged. This is obviously beyond our control.

We do monitor these issues carefully and if we see a trend we escalate the issue to the manufacturer.
