It just works!
installed this with two of the wire-free dimmer switches to control 12 GU10 5 watt leds (brand is LAP). And it works. Simple as that! Dims down to almost out. Slight buzz but perfectly acceptable.

Do you have to buy this product as well as the dimmer switch?

BEST ANSWER: This is a dimmer in its own right, so you would not use it with a LightwaveRF Wall Dimmer as there would be no need and it would create a conflict. But you would use the inline dimmer with a LightwaveRF transmitting device such as wireless wall switch, mood controller, handheld remote or LightwaveRF Link Hub - these will allow you to control it wirelessly via LightwaveRF. More information about LightwaveRF is n this guide - http://www.vesternet.com/resources/scenarios/lighting/lightwaverf
