Oregon Scientific UV Wireless Sensor UVR128 is an intelligently designed sensor that can differentiate between UV lighting and ambient lighting. You can use the sensor to configure your room's shades, curtains and windows to protect your furniture from bleaching or use it to build a healthy indoor environment.
The smart UV sensor comes with a LCD screen that shows the intensity of radiation, with 0-2 being low, 3-5 medium, 6-7 high, 8-10 very high, and 11-25 being extreme. It saves the UV intensity levels and transmits it to the base unit or the central controller of your home automation system, so that you can intelligently adjust your home to the detected UV radiation level. For example, you can automatically turn on your blinds and shades, when there's too much radiation, so that you can prevent UV damage in your home.
The wireless sensor is battery-powered and comes with a stand for easy and convenient positioning on the floor or on the table/wall. It also comes with a low battery indicator, so that you can swap your batteries on time.
