Fine tune your heating system!
Adding Home Automation control to your home's heating system is relatively straightforward and enables you to fine tune your usage through the day and for different days of the week.
Managing your heating via smart-phone, tablet or web browser is much more convenient than a traditional programmer and timer!
You decide which areas of your home are heated, when they're heated and to what temperature. For instance, you may decide you want the rooms heated to 18°C in the morning, 12°C during the day and 20°C in the evening. The Home Automation system handles it all for you - no need to worry or think about it.

Create zones that can be individually turned On/Off or be set to different temperatures. This is done using room thermostats and radiator valve controls. The thermostats can be positioned in any room or area of your home, they communicate with the central controller, which then controls the individual radiator valves. These heating zones that can be operated independently of each other giving you a ultimate control over your home's heating.
An example would be to create two zones. During the day only one zone is active and in the evening both become active. This is a great idea if you work from home during the day and only need a small number of rooms heating.
As everything is wirelessly controlled the thermostats can be positioned anywhere you like, there's no changes to your wiring or plumbing.
"I wanted to make everything in the house easy to use and able to be controlled from my iPhone or the Internet! My MiCasaVerde Vera Lite allows me to do that with ease!"

We're only human and we don't always follow the rules. For instance my son's bedroom is the warmest in the house. His solution is to open his window, which works quite well in January, but wastes a lot of heat. A simple solution is to fit a detector to the window, when the window is opened, the home automation system automatically switches off the room's radiators helping to reduce wasted heat and save costs.
So, let's get down to business! We've listed below two real-life scenarios, simply select one to reveal the solution!
