The In-Wall Dimmer Module is designed to control the on/off status of lighting and appliances load in your house. The unit also provides dimmer function which is only applicable to light bulbs. At 230V voltage, this module can support up to 300W resistive/ incandescent load, or 200W fluorescent load.

Everspring In-wall Dimmer Module is a Z-Wave module that allows you to toggle electrical appliances wirelessly and control dimming of lights. The device installs behind a wall switch and allows you to remotely control the appliances connected with the power outlet through a Z-Wave home automation gateway or remote control.

Am going to test it alongside the Fibaro and the Qubino equivalents. If this works as well, would be a preferred option as does not require the bypass to work reliably with led lights and is most cost effective.

Is it possible to connect this to a standard dimmer switch or does it have to be an on/off switch?

BEST ANSWER: All Dimmer modules must be used with an open/closed type switch. They cannot be used with a dimmer switch as that creates a conflict - you would have a dimmer trying to control a dimmer. It is best to use these dimmer modules (and Fibaro, Qubino etc) with momentary switches. how many 100w bulbs it can support?

BEST ANSWER: The details in this description are incorrect, we are updating them this morning. Total load for the dimmer is 300W (incandescent) and 200W ( fluorescent), So if you are using incandescent 100W bulbs you would could use a maximum of 3. However, that would be pushing the dimmer to the maximum and we would not recommend that. If these are LED bulbs, then obviously that needs to be reduced - we'd suggest a maximum of 30-50W for LEDs.
Can you control brightness using a push button connected to the dry contacts, or only toggle a light on/off?

BEST ANSWER: Actually it does mention working with LED lighting: "The smart In-wall module has been designed to work perfectly with incandescent, fluorescent or LED lighting."
