Easy to install
One push on the button to include in my system, which uses an Aeon Labs Z-Stick series 2 controller and Indigo 6.4.1.

Poor design
A waste of money unless you accept that you will only be able to switch the lamp on via a z-wave remote/controller and not the standard wall switch. There is an on/off button on the module but as the module is designed for ceiling mounting it is not practical to use this on a daily basis! Why could the module not be made so that, if switched off via the wall switch, then the module would remain in the "on" mode and the lamp could be switched on again from the wall switch? The wall plugs and also the Lightwave lamp modules let you do this!

Very large unit !
This works out the box on Veraedge spot on. My one complaint is that it is huge. Therefore will not fit many places you might want to use, so check clearance of the unit and the bulb (lamp) you are going to use first. Otherwise 1st class product.

Everspring Screw-in Lamp Module
A very simple way to get lamp control without doing any wiring. Inclusion is a one hit button again very simple Associate this with a motion sensor and you are up and running in minutes. A great little unit at a very reasonable price

Hi, I know it's not dimmable in itself, but would it allow a dim signal to pass through from a dimmer switch? i.e you can dim at the wall whilst the unit is on? I don't want to control the light through it, but I would like to be able to be able to poll it. No signal would mean that the light is off and I could use that to trigger other scenes.

BEST ANSWER: If I understand you correctly you would like this on a light circuit that is controlled by a dimmer. Is that correct? If so, then no this will not work. The device needs a constant mains voltage supply. But if you are using a dimmer on that circuit you will be reducing the voltage (and current) supplied to this switch. It will not work correctly and at some point will switch off entirely. You may fine using one of the Domitech LEDs easier. These can be used with a normal mains switch (they still need a constant mains voltage) but you can change their brightness via Z-Wave.
Is this dimmable?

BEST ANSWER: Hi. This device is for On/Off control only, it isn't a dimmer. Hope that helps.
