Need advice? More information?

Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller 2 has the ability to manage its own Z-Wave network (if it is configured as primary controller) and control devices such as sockets, window blinds, dimmer, lights, electronic door locks and more. When integrated with an existing Z-Wave network, it can be used either as primary controller (in absence of central controller) or as a secondary controller.

The switch comes with four buttons, which can either be used as single buttons or button pairs. During inclusion process, this wireless switch checks the new gadget’s functions (switch, dim,…) and assigns the correct functions to its buttons automatically. The connected new device (actuator) can be controlled using the two buttons left (Button 1 = up/on/open, Button 3 = down/off/closed). With buttons 3 and 4, you can include new gadgets to the switch, and even remove devices from your Z-Wave network.

The device is battery-operated and can be mounted on every flat and dry surface. The ZWE_SW7 frame with rocker switch fits perfectly to the WALLC-2 wireless wall switch's board. At first glance, the rocker switch looks like an ordinary rocker switch, but it has significant more functions. For example, the rocker switch can tilt diagonal over the switch's center pushing all 4 buttons in the switch's corners individually. In addition, the switch can distinguish single and double click functions which can be used to trigger appropriate functions.

Old one was much better
Signal strength is rubbish compared to the old one, and the frame is no-longer flush with the wall. The new feature of being able to operate as a master controller is pretty much pointless, who wants a battery operated light switch as their master controller. Please bring back the old one!

Awful, at least with VERA UI7
I brought this after trying the Devolo one first, same issues, wouldn't except the parameters. Get yourself a NodOn CWS-3-1-01 instead, plug and play, I had it setup within 10 minutes. Can't believe I wasted several days on the other two.

Is this one work with Vera Edge ?
Guest Visitor 30 Aug 2016
BEST ANSWER: I strongly recommend you don't, I tried this and the Devolo variant and they did not play nicely with my Vera edge. After wasting several days, I used this: Which was plug and play, seriously DO NOT waste your time on the others for use with VERA.
How does this product differ from the TKB Dual Paddle Wall Dimmer?
yannick 22 Feb 2016
BEST ANSWER: hi, these are very different products. The wall controller is a battery-powered wall controller - it will control other Z-Wave devices by association, or trigger scenes in the main Z-Wave controller (gateway). It cannot be wired to a physical load as it is purely battery powered. The TKB dimmer is a mains-powered device (live and neutral). It is wired into a lighting circuit and can control one wired load and the 2nd paddle can be used to control Z-Wave devices using association. Hope this helps.
Is the Dual paddle frame for 2 half buttons, or 2x2 half buttons?
Guest Visitor 16 Feb 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure of your question. The Wall_C2 has four buttons. When you install the two paddle face panel you can then press each of the buttons (top-left, bottom-left, top-right, bottom-right).
