Manual control difficult
Works fine through my z-wave controller, Vera. But turning it on and off manually isn't easy - feedback from pushing the button is slow so it's hard to know how long to hold the button or how often to press it.

The old version didn't support association back to node1, so needed to be polled to get its state. Seeing as these are gen5, does that mean they now support association, so no longer needs to be polled?

The 'Push-button: manual override' will that keep last setting it was dimmed to, and turn back to where it was last if using just the button?

Do these support power measurement?
Guest Visitor 27 Mar 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. You'd need the Z-Wave TKB Wall Plug Switch/Meter - GEN5 - UK to get power measurement, but that model does not have a dimmer function.
Does the Gen5 version of this product work with dimmable LED bulbs? I understand the earlier model (non-Gen5) did not dim LED bulbs, so I'm wondering if this changed with the newer variant of the product.

BEST ANSWER: This will use the same dimming control as the original dimmer, so it will not support LEDs. This would have required it to be completely redesigned and moved to a 'trailing-edge' style dimmer. The device is the same as the original except it supports Z-Wave Plus (Gen5). Hope this helps.
