Plugwise is based around a smart socket which is easily placed between the outlet and the appliance plug. It measures the energy consumption and transmits that data wirelessly to your PC.

The PC-software allows insight into your exact energy consumption, CO2 emission and costs, in one glance - for each individual appliance, group and room. Appliances can be controlled manually or automatically, all using ZigBee. Choose a 5 or 9 socket starter kit, then add to your network over time with additional plugs.
