The 2m refers to the length of each LED strip. This length is optimal to prevent voltage drop when chaining multiple LED strips together. For example, if you've calculated that you can use 6m of a particular LED strip within the load tolerances of the Fibaro RGBW Controller 2, you should connect that 6m in parallel, meaning three sections of 2m.
