i'd like to set the position of a motor according to a LUX-value. Not just the start & end position but also anywhere in between. Is that possible with the Vesternet Zigbee Motor Controller?

The module supports positioning, but it's largely dependent on the type of motor being used and support in the Zigbee controller for allowing positioning.

I'm afraid that we don't sell motors so that's not something that we can advise further on unfortunately.
