Direct SmartThingsintergration Aqara Wireless Remote Switch H1 (double rocker)

Hi, this product is listed under works with smart things, but the image on the box says Aqara hub required, is this correct? Can i pair this device to the SmartThings hub directly with full functionality? Is the same answer true for further Aqara products? Their range of sensors and switches seem better than most and i',m trying to keep everything as in-diverse as possible.
