To calculate power using a clamp meter, first use the clamp to measure the current flowing through the conductor in amperes. Then, measure the voltage across the same conductor using a multimeter or the clamp meter if it has voltage measuring capabilities. Finally, calculate the power by multiplying the measured current (in amperes) by the measured voltage (in volts) to get the power in watts (P = IV). For AC circuits, if the power factor is known, incorporate it into the calculation: P = IV × Power Factor.
