Zigbee is generally considered more secure than Wi-Fi for specific applications due to its use of AES-128 encryption and its design for low-power, low-data-rate communication in mesh networks, which inherently limits the attack surface. However, Wi-Fi can also be highly secure if configured correctly with strong encryption protocols like WPA3. Ultimately, the security of either technology depends significantly on implementation and configuration.
