The level of PM 2.5, which refers to particulate matter that is less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, is considered "good" when it is at or below 12 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m³) according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Air Quality Index (AQI). At this level, air quality is deemed satisfactory, and air pollution poses little or no risk to the general population.
