The SW-420 vibration sensor detects vibrations or movements using a spring-loaded mass that triggers a switch when disturbed. When the sensor experiences sufficient vibration, the internal mass moves, closing the switch and sending a signal to a connected microcontroller or circuit. This simple on/off signal can then be used to trigger alarms, notifications, or other responses in a system.
