The zooz door sensor is splash-resistant thanks to a protective rubber coating but isn't fully waterproof for outdoor use on its own. To install it outdoors properly, you'll need the Zooz Waterproof Case, which is compatible only with this sensor model. Also, keep in mind it operates best between 0°C to 40°C.
