Hi, I wonder if I can connect this strip directly to the wire? I don't see in the advertisement any explanation how can I connect this strip. I would also like to make sure this strip can work directly with Smartthings and will not require additional hub. Regards, Gal View answer

Is there a Device Handler so that this works with smartthings? Although Frient is listed as a partner when adding a device, the keypad is not listed 🙁 Alternatively, maybe another keypad so I can use it with a konnected alarm panel for deactivation by guests. View answer

Before buying this I wonder if anyone has tried the Smartthings Web driver reassignment as in this discussion: https://community.smartthings.com/t/fibaro-fgs-224-any-experience-dh/199429 I see @johan has asked a similar question. I cannot find any published drivers for Smartthings other than this forcing the device assignment as double switch. View answer

Sensor 6 has several flaws. Reset button link via a piece of dodgy plastic, poor light level reading, poor UV reading.Apart from these, it was very good. Have they been addressed in Sensor 7? E.G. What range is read for the light level? Can I trust the reset mechanism? Can I assume it will work well with RaZberry? View answer

Will this work with lights and smart plugs connected via a Hue gateway? More specifically, I am using Home Assistant with a Hue gateway controlling a mix of Ikea Tradfri and other brands of bulbs/smart plugs. I am looking for a wall-mounted controller that Home Assistant can see and that ideally can control lights directly in case the hub loses connectivity. View answer

This says Pi4 compatible but in the supporting documentation it says "not without un-powered USB hub)". Some have said that this is the latest version of this Z-stick but according to the Aeotec site there is a later version called Aeotec Gen5+ which is compatible with a Pi4 without having to use a USB hub. Anyone able to clarify this please? View answers
