I am using the Fibaro Dimmer 2 to control the main lights in my lounge on S1, and to control the lamps by association in Group 5 which are connected to wall dimmers using S2. I have managed to get it all working, but I would like to connect more than one lamp. I have tried to add a second association but it never seems to stick. I have attempted this with OpenHAB, my main server, and with Domoticz control centre. Can you tell me whether this is possible? From the limited documentation I can find, and my experience with associating other devices, I believe it should be.

I am looking for a capacitive mono-stable wall switch to be used with a z-wave dimmer module. I'm struggling to find ones which will work as desired as most will not register a long press/hold – instead, they always accept touch as a momentary on/off. What I would like is for it to mimic a mono-stable switch (bell-push) i.e. touch once for on/off and hold for dim up/down, which I know can be set by the Fibaro parameters – but I can't find a capacitive plate wall plate that does this. Note, ideally I'm looking a double switch.

Hi, I've recently purchased one of these devices and installed it on my veraplus. Its created the 'Double Switch 2', Q1 Load, and Q2 Load. On the double switch device, its got the status: Failed at: Setting special association. The 2 load switches appear to work ok. Any ideas how to resolve? Thanks View answer

Just read the English installation instructions for the Fibaro FGS 223. They state "The device is designed for installation in a wall switch box of depth not less than 600mm." I'm not sure you can get a back box of that depth in the UK. Does this mean we can't use the device in a standard UK box? View answer

Is it possible to install this module to control one light with S1 and the other 2 lights with S2? the idea is that the controller will open/close the 2 lights together while manually using the physical switches I will still have separate control. How many 240V GU10 Led Bulbs (Dimmable ones) can the FD2 support? I have 3 light fittings for outside my house that house 2 GU10 240 Bulbs or GU10 240V Dimmable Bulbs. I am going to use the LED Dimmable bulbs which on the box say "Use only 7 watts per bulb". So a total of 6 bulbs in 3 light housings. I'm going to wire them back to a junction box in parellel (not serial) and into then into the FB2 but was worried that 6 bulbs of this type (or even 10) would fry it? I have the original Fibaro Bypass Module also (FGB001) which I bought a few years ago but never used, could I use this if I need it? The LED 240v GU10 bulbs are "dimmable" Thanks! Andy View answers

I look at the instruction manual for the wiring diagrams. I have two wires coming from the wall and it has no wall switch. When I moved in, it had a cheap strip light with shaver socket and its own onboard switch. I have removed this old fitting. I am planning to install an LED strip light running off 12V. I wish to use the Fibaro Dimmer 2 with bypass 2. When I look at the wiring diagram for a 2 wire setup, it assumes I will have a Wall Switch. This makes the diagram useless to me.
