Z-Wave RGBW controllers are special Z-Wave Modules that allow you to control the brightness and colour of LED strips. The modules can control four channels, allowing them to control the LED strip's four colour channels (Red, Green, Blue and White). They can also be used to drive four separate channels of 'white' LEDs.

These modules are very different to Z-Wave Light modules, or Z-Wave Dimmers as they are specifically designed to work with multi-colour LED strips. Once installed they operate as part of your Z-Wave smart home automation system allowing you to wirelessly control the brightness and colour of the LED strip.. Or, you can use other features of the Z-Wave system to control them automatically based on time of day, or from other devices such as Z-Wave Sensors.
