Begin the home automation adventure with the LightwaveRF Light and Power Starter Kit. With a Link Plus, a second-generation controller, a 1 gang smart dimmer, and a 2 gang smart socket, you'll have everything you need to start controlling your lights, lamps, appliances, setting scenes and more. This model of smart dimmer and smart socket incorporates all the great features from LightwaveRF's Generation 1 products and adds Apple HomeKit compatibility, 2-way communication, built-in energy monitoring, and more.
Both dimmer and socket are quick and easy to DIY install. A contemporary stainless steel finish and fully 3000W rated like any other 1 gang or 2 gang socket, but you can power a LightwaveRF remote control plug socket from your smartphone. All LightwaveRF sockets are also lockable to ensure family safety. The second-generation dimmer light switch offers soft-start illumination, 2-way switching as default, energy monitoring and 20-way wireless communication with other LightwaveRF dimmers.

LightwaveRF's superior second-generation Lightwave Link Plus controller is designed to work seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Echo, Google Home and more. The LightwaveRF Link Plus receives and passes on commands from the App, allowing you to control over 200 individual LightwaveRF devices in the home from wherever you are.
The LightwaveRF has introduced the Generation 2 product range that features the Apple HomeKit compatibility, built-in energy monitoring, wire-free 2-way switching, and 2-way communication. The 2-way communication allows users to see the status of their devices through the app. For example, when a user opens the app, it will be able to see if a dimmer or a socket is currently on or off. Generation 2 products are also able to receive updates over the air.
The compatibility with Apple HomeKit allows you to control all your Generation 2 devices using the Home App on any of your iOS devices. You can also use voice control by giving Siri instructions, such as turning the lights off or turning the heating on. The following Generation 1 devices will be also Apple HomeKit compatible: Home Thermostat (LW921), Radiator Valve (LW922) and Electric Switch (LW934).
Lightwave Link Plus app
If you wish to control all your Generation 1 and 2 devices from one app, the recommendation is to use the new Lightwave Link Plus app. If you'd like to access to advanced functionality on day one, including automation, then the Apple Home app is recommended.
