The Brain of Your Mi|Home System
Mi|Home Gateway is the brain of your home automation system that allows you to intelligently control, schedule and monitor the connected Mi|Home connected devices from your smartphone, tablet or Internet connected device.
With app for iOS and Android devices, you can now keep a tab on everything that matters in your home, even while you're on the go. The controller also allows you to create intelligent rules, so that your controller can take of things without your intervention. For example, you can create a rule that automatically turns on your heating system when it's too cold outside or dim the lights in your home based on how bright it is inside.
It also features the unique geofencing technology that detects your presence in your home and triggers events accordingly. For instance, the gateway senses your current location and would automatically turn off the heating when you're off to work, and turn it back on, once you reach home. The Gateway can even be linked with IFTTT, which means you can now turn on your appliances using the weather information, ESPN updates or Facebook activities. It also means that you can now use your Mi|Home devices in conjunction with the Phillips Hue and Nest. to expand the connectivity of your smart home system.
Setting up the controller is also easy. It requires no complicated installation, and can be setup within minutes. It is powered by a 5 volt micro-usb power supply and connects to your router via an ethernet cable. Both the ethernet cable and the power supply are included with the gateway.
