Really poor physical design
This looks nice in pictures, but in the flesh it feels very cheap, doesn't fit well and the buttons are virtually un-usable. I have replaced all of mine except one with Nest thermostats which look beautiful and work really well, either by hand, Nest app or HomeSeer integration. The final one I am stuck with as there are very few thermostats with a floor probe as required with a wooden floor and electric UFH. As soon as I can find a way around it, this will be gone.

Good bit of kit
I was hovering over this for months and finally decided to add my bathroom under floor heating into my Vera zwave network. The look is great, the build quality fantastic, instructions spot on and I added it within seconds as a generic device in Vera Edge. Straight away the standard resistive sensor read the same as my old device, this allows calibration which I will try later too. Changes made on the device are reported almost immediately on Vera and chafed made by Vera succeeded immediately also. Now i only have to add changes of set point on my PLEG HVAC control to finish up. Delighted

Is the pilot wire an input or output?
Guest Visitor 25 Jan 2016
BEST ANSWER: The pilot wire terminal is for connecting a remote "override" switch that allows you to switch between thermostat modes. It's an optional connection, so you don't need to use it if you don't want to. Hope that helps!
Has enemy one tested this product on indigo? If so what data is available from the thermostat.

BEST ANSWER: I have just replaced the Aeon Labs S2 Z-Stick for the Gen5 Z-Stick as this device will not Include with the S2. I have been using the HeatIt on Vera bridged to Indigo 6 which worked ok but the temp was not reported to Indigo. Now i have the Gen5 Z-Stick it included first time and Indigo 6 controls it with no issues and the temp is reported. It shows as a Generic Thermostat when sync/define in Indigo 6. All i have tried is Heat On, Heat Off and Set points but thats all i needed. Works well.
Has anyone tested this with a Vera Lite?
Paul W. 25 Mar 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi. We have tested it with VERA Lite. You need to use UI5 1.5.672 or UI7 1.7.436 or higher. It will then work fine. We will be publishing a review of it later this week that will show test results and behaviour for all controllers. If you need more specific information please send us an email and we will respond straight away.
