Will these works with LED down lights and LED cove lighting?
Guest V. 28 Oct 2017
2 channels? What does this mean? - I've read the FAQ on Zwave multichannel association but still don't get it... The way I read it it seems to mean that if I add a 2xrelay for each output of this switch the Zwave controller could potentially control 8loads, but then I don't get how the physical switches would behave...

BEST ANSWER: This is actually a 4 channel switch. On the back you have 4 switched live that you can wire to 4 difference circuits. On my fibaro (and on vera) this shows up as 4 different switches + an extra com channel. I wish I could show you an image but there's no way to attach that here. This is what the manual says: "The switch supports 5 association groups. The first four groups are used for switching associated devices(switch N controlling group N),and each group can support up to 5 nodes or terminals. The 5th association group is used for reporting devices’ state to the controller if any changes happen. "
Can you recommend at least one junction box that works with this product, please?
Guest Visitor 12 Oct 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, but I use them without junction box. I glued the metal frame to the wall, Used the inside of the frame as the cast for the whole in the wall. Al the electric parts are well hidden inside the plastic housing of the switch, so als log as the wall is dry it should be no problem.
Is this compatible with Homeseer 3. I dont seem to be able to include it (no errors though), or indeed press and hold to reset back to factory?
Jonny 7 Sep 2016
BEST ANSWER: No problem here, but the timing of holding the buttons on the switch is rather critical. I ended up holding a wacht with a second hand in sight to hold the button the correct time. And even than it may take several trials.
Can this switch work perfect with smartthings?
Wesley Wong 3 Jul 2016
BEST ANSWER: You would need to check with SmartThings to confirm compatibility. As we understand it, ST needs a device handler for each device. In theory standard Z-Wave devices will include correctly into ST, but unless there is a Device Handler for a device you may not be able to use all its functions, or change configuration settings. Generally, these Device Handlers are created by ST or the ST community and made available from within the Smartapps area. ST has a European compatibility list, but this doesn't yet have new products added to it - As we get more information from customers about which device work with ST we will also update our own Z-Wave Compatibility Guide -
Hi, do you know how this switch behaves in case of power loss? will it retain its current state or will switch everything to off?
Nexus1211 29 Feb 2016
BEST ANSWER: When we last tested the MCO devices (at the beginning of last year) they did not retain their status after a power failure.
Hello, Can you tell me if this will this work with Gu10 Led's?
Guest Visitor 25 Feb 2016
Is it possible to use more of these switches to be used as 2way or more system (to control lights from different locations)? Guess it should work after the switches are associated together in group 2 but gust wondering if I understood this correctly.
jarode 3 Feb 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Attila, This is something we haven’t tried ourselves so I can’t tell for sure but there’s a chance you can use the Association Groups as you described. You may need to associate each switch (A to B and B to A) groups 1-4 to keep the status “synched” between them. It's possible that this might create a "loop" though, so you'd need to do some testing and make sure it behaves as you'd expect.
These are on/off switches, but is it possible to make them dim lights, eg as you hold the button on. Or is there a four button dimmable option ? want to put throughout house.
gordon 17 Jul 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Gordon, as you said these are On/Off switches - they are not dimmers so cannot be used to control the brightness of lights. Current MCO have not released a dimmer, we know they are working on one. For now it is best to use Z-Wave dimmer modules from Qubino or Fibaro.
Is this compatible with HC2?
