TKB Dimmer Socket
Neat little pass through format, inclusion into my Z-Wave Vera3 was very easy. The little button (which has an LED) on the front by default is on when the device is off! TKB say this is so it can act as night light, but its counterintuitive so you probably want to change it so the LED comes on when then the unit is on. This is easy to do and explained in the manual.

Hi I have this device and it was working fine when paired with a USB stick and running Domoticz as my controller. However, I've since rebuilt my server and am not able to pair this unit with the USB stick, I think that possibly this is due to it still being paired with the old controller. Therefore does anyone know how to factory reset this device so that I can pair it successfully again? Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Hi David, Simple way is to delete it from the Z-Wave controller and then re-include it. This clears the Z-Wave chip and rests the device. I've not used Domoticz, but most controllers allow you to delete a device (even if it's not already included), we usually advise doing this as it clears it and prevents issue when including devices. Hope this makes sense.
hello. I have a 3w trailing edge led. will this work with it to dim?

BEST ANSWER: No - as we highlight in the description, this dimmer is not suitable for LEDs. It is better to use the Popp Dimmer socket as it has been specifically designed for LEDs.
on a veraplus will it only function as a dimmer or can it be an on/off socket only ? I don't need dimmer functionality but for a quid more I figure it is worth having in the device, but if it cant function as a plain on/off switch then I wotn get this one

BEST ANSWER: This is a dimmer and designed to only be used with dimmable bulbs and not LEDs. It will control the light's brightness and control it On/Off style. But as it is a dimmer, it is not the same as a true On/Off switch that actually cuts power going through the bulb. So it is best to chose the best device for the job you want. If you only want On/Off control, then I would suggest you go for the TKB On/Off Wall Plug -
