The Secure SCS318 7-day Programable Thermostat and Receiver set enables you to control your heating system's boiler or under floor heating wirelessly via Z-Wave. It includes the Secure SCS317 Progammable Thermostat, which can be installed in the room to be controlled and the Secure Boiler Receiver.
The Programable Thermostat lets you choose what times you want the heating to be on, and what temperature it should reach while it is on. You can even select different temperatures at different times of the day (and days of the week) to meet your particular needs.
The large LCD has an intuitive user interface so that you can easily program all times and temperatures for your heating system, and then it will run itself.
The SCS317 is battery-powered and can be position anywhere in your home, and is designed to work with the Secure Boiler Receiver. It uses a sophisticated time proportional integral (TPI) algorithm for accurate temperature control and energy efficiency, helping you to keep warm and save money.
Note: The SCS317 is a single channel thermostat - the 7-day function will only control one channel. If you wish to use it in a system for heating and hot water, you would use the SC317 to control the heating and you would create a separate schedule scene in the Z-Wave controller to run the hot water.
Unlike other heating controllers, the Secure SCS317 can be used as part of a Z-Wave system such as VERA.
The SSR-303 Z-Wave receiver is a single channel relay switch to control your heating boiler. It includes manual On/Off buttons and LEDs to indicate the boiler's current state.
