Empowered by Gen7 but not limited by it, Range Extender 7 is compatible with all generations of Z-Wave devices. Through its universal compatibility, it’s able to repeat and amplify Z-Wave signals from both the oldest Z-Wave devices which use 100 series antennas and S0 security, to the newer devices which use 500 series, 700 series, and S2 security.
