It works but only with a bodge
It turns on/off with the Veralite but only with a scene bodge which means I can turn off or on but can't see if it's on or off so I don't know if it's worked. I use it to switch a large water heater on and off which it does with no problems.

Plugged the thing in, and had a small problem with it appearing to be associated with another Z-wave controller. An email to ask how to fix this sorted that, and I'm pleased to say the device works perfectly. It's now controlling my underfloor heating pump and I'm beginning to wonder how people live without this sort of thing. Next up: boiler control.

Doesn't like dimmable electronic transformers! but mains lamps ok!
its a good unit for being compact and easy to program and well detected in Vera Lite, but don't go expecting it to control 12V electronic transformer halogen lamps. after one set of lights dimming to a step of about 40% and max looking like 80% brightness dimming up or down results in a cranky flashing action. Further investigation suggests that these are leading edge dimmers, trailing edge dimmers are needed for electronic transformers. Having said that these work really well with the rest of the mains Halogens.

I'm new to the whole Z-wave thing. Does this device send a notification when the switch is switched on or off? At present I am able to control the output with both the switch and remotely using Z-way app on my phone. I'd like to get a push notification on my iPhone when a user manually uses the switch. Also is it possible to 'unpair' the relationship between the physical switch and the device output?
