Works well
No problems at all with Indigo. Just note that they are USB rechargeable, it may not be obvious to all as the instructions seem to omit this completely :)

I have a HomeSeer 3 set up (PC with USB Aeon z-Wave Controller), and I am looking for a handheld remote to control 3 Z-Wave sockets in my lounge. I am a bit confused with the instructions. Does this handheld remote need to be a secondary controller, or it a new Primary Controller, that you add existing devices to? (and thus the sockets are then on two z-wave networks) that possible? I am sure this is designed to work, but I want to make sure I know how it will work before I buy....

BEST ANSWER: You cant set it up as a second primary controller. And I don't think you can make it work as a secondary controller either as you want HS3 to have control of the devices. The way I get mine to work is the minimote is added to HS3 as a device. When you press a button, the HS3 controller picks this up and you can then write an event for each button (long or short press) and take action accordingly. This allows you to be much more powerful in the actions you take on a button press but there could be a slight delay, depending on the quality of your z-Wave signals, in the response.
Hi there. Can any one please let me know if this will work with the Fibaro FGRGBWM-441 device. I have a Z-Wave stick connected to my PC running the Domoticz software I can control the FGRGBWM-441 via my phone from the Domoticz home automation software but would like the option of a remote to handy in a room that has the LED's in. Just means i can quick press a button to turn on the LED's instead of getting my phone out every time. Regard and Thanks, Hal

The Mini Mote works within most controllers, we've tested it in Fibaro and VERA, plus we have confirmation of people using it with Homeseer and Indigo (via an Aeon USB Stick). We've not tested it in Domoticz, but I would expect it to work. Once included in Domoticz you will be able to either Associate it with the Fibaro RGBW or use it to control a scene - this depends on how Domoticz handles secondary controllers like the Mini Mote. Hope this helps.
