Hi, I've recently purchased one of these devices and installed it on my veraplus. Its created the 'Double Switch 2', Q1 Load, and Q2 Load. On the double switch device, its got the status: Failed at: Setting special association. The 2 load switches appear to work ok. Any ideas how to resolve? Thanks View answer

Would this work locally "out of the box" without connecting to a central z-wave controller? I understand remote commands require a controller but would a hardwired momentary switch be able to turn on the load immediately after wiring as well? View answer

Just read the English installation instructions for the Fibaro FGS 223. They state "The device is designed for installation in a wall switch box of depth not less than 600mm." I'm not sure you can get a back box of that depth in the UK. Does this mean we can't use the device in a standard UK box? View answer

Hi, I have box with 3 switches controlling 3 lights (one for each). Is it possible to install this module to control one light with S1 and the other 2 lights with S2? the idea is that the controller will open/close the 2 lights together while manually using the physical switches I will still have separate control. Thanks. View answers

I have 18 LEDs at 5w and 0.5 power factor. Would I be able to use the Dimmer 2 if were to use alongside the Bypass 2 or is the wattage too high? Based on the technical resources I think it would overload it but I have seen some responses to questions saying this number of bulbs should be fine. View answer

I am currently using these with 240v halogen bulbs and wanted to switch to LED. In some places it will be 3 wired and in others I will add a bypass unit. Is there any particular brands of dimmable 240v LED bulbs that people have had success or problems with? Or am I pretty safe just going with shop own brand? They would be either E27 golfball bulbs or gu10 spots View answer

I'm trying to use this switch to control load by both S1 and S2 (connected to separate switch), but it my case switch connected into S2 has no impact on the load. I had no problem with achieving the same effect with Everspring module AN179, but somehow it does not work with Fibaro. Have anyone has achieved such configuration (controlling load by both S1 & S2)? I was seriously thinking about buying one of these for a house I am buying off plan but put off by the fact that this cannot be installed in direct sunlight and needs to be protected from rain. How can this be used as an external door entry system if it can’t be used outside? Also, with the camera, can I hook this up to an NVR to record the live stream like a CCTV camera? If the above can be confirmed, that would be great! Thanks, Hal View answer

If you were using 3-position (on/off/on) switches would you need 3core+ earth cable running between all switches in a 2-way or multi-way lighting circuit? or could this be achieved with 2 core+earth cable between switches? thanks View answer

When using the Dimmer 2 in a 2-way or multi-way circuit, do the momentary (bell-push) switches need to be 2-way switches or will 1-way switches work? (as the wiring is simplified when using momentary switches). Such as the Varilight 2-Gang 6A 1-Way Push-to-Make Momentary Switch? Thanks View answer

I bought this motion sensor and tried without success to include to my new smartthings hub v2 (UK version). Smartthings support advised me to confirm that the motion sensor is also a UK version (not a US one), as apparently the frequencies are different... Can you please confirm that this sensor works with the UK version of smartthings hub? View answers

Hi. Has anyone had a good experience with these? The concept is great, but not if it doesn't work! Is it the firmware that is unstable, or the controller software? Have the Vesternet staff had any experience with them? Also, are they always listening, or do they have a wake up period? Thanks, Ed View answers

I tried Setting Parameter 20 to 0 in homseer z-wave node but it just says error and dosent change. Any help please View answer

Hi Folks. Is it feasible to use this sensor to control your central heating. If I used a fibaro relay to control the boiler could the temperature sensor be used as a thermostat to set or monitor the temperature or would I need to buy a dedicated Zwave thermostat? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. View answer

How does the thermostat in a room that is too cold turn the boiler on so that the radiator can be supplied with hot water. You can’t leave the boiler set on permanently. In most UK central heating systems there is a central thermostat and or programmer that determines when the boiler switches on or off. View answers

Hi all, I have installed a couple of these (fgs223) on a 2 way switch. One is an on off switch and the other is a dimmer. I've put the switches behind the on off switch. That bit works well but now the separate dimmer won't dim it only switches on and off. Any suggestions? View answers

Z-Wave Fibaro KeyFob working with the Vera plus ?
Asked 8 ´years ago | Z-Wave Fibaro KeyFob
I think I need this, since my LED lamp still glows a bit when it should be off, but am not clear on how it is meant to be fitted. The wiring diagram in the manual is hopeless - so do you have to put this inside the light fitting somehow ? I don't see where it would physically go, to bridge across the bulb. There are two lights driven by the same switch, so do I need to bypass them both ? View answers

Can these be placed in an unfinished loft/attic? Some smoke detectors specifically state not to place them in an unfinished attic (e.g. Nest Protect) due to the large temp changes etc. Could not find anything specific re. these so thought I would pose the question here. Thanks chaps! View answers

How many 240V GU10 Led Bulbs (Dimmable ones) can the FD2 support? I have 3 light fittings for outside my house that house 2 GU10 240 Bulbs or GU10 240V Dimmable Bulbs. I am going to use the LED Dimmable bulbs which on the box say "Use only 7 watts per bulb". So a total of 6 bulbs in 3 light housings. I'm going to wire them back to a junction box in parellel (not serial) and into then into the FB2 but was worried that 6 bulbs of this type (or even 10) would fry it? I have the original Fibaro Bypass Module also (FGB001) which I bought a few years ago but never used, could I use this if I need it? The LED 240v GU10 bulbs are "dimmable" Thanks! Andy View answers

Does this need ventilation? I was planning on using these in the loft for the upstairs lighting and putting them in PVC boxes along with any connectors etc. This is to keep things neat and safe but wondered if I need to drill holes in the boxes for ventilation? View answers
