El Qubino puede controlar motores de persianas, toldos, puertas de garaje y cortinas de bajo voltaje (12 - 24 V CC). Se acopla a un interruptor existente, lo que permite controlar las persianas de forma inalámbrica, así como medir su consumo de energía. Permite un posicionamiento preciso de los motores equipados con interruptores de fin de carrera mecánicos o electrónicos.

El Qubino es el único control de persianas diseñado específicamente para motores de corriente continua: utiliza un interruptor de inversión de polaridad para cambiar la dirección del motor.
