I look at the instruction manual for the wiring diagrams. I have two wires coming from the wall and it has no wall switch. When I moved in, it had a cheap strip light with shaver socket and its own onboard switch. I have removed this old fitting. I am planning to install an LED strip light running off 12V. I wish to use the Fibaro Dimmer 2 with bypass 2. When I look at the wiring diagram for a 2 wire setup, it assumes I will have a Wall Switch. This makes the diagram useless to me. Can anybody help with an adjusted diagram please? View answer

I currently have have 1x SRT321 thermostat and 1x SSR303 actuator and ordered a bunch of LC-13 TRV's - however I would need to be able to trigger the boiler if the temperature drops in a room other than where the main SRT321 is located. If I understood the manuals correctly, I shouldn't send the trigger command from my Vera because the SSR303 will go into fail-safe mode if the trigger isn't re-sent within the next hour. So I guess ideally one (or more) SRT321 should be managing the SSR303? So my question is: can multiple SRT321 thermostats be paired with a single SSR303 actuator? View answer

Has anyone figured out how to set the light and humidity thresholds? The manual gives parameter values, sizes and hex/decimal descriptions but setting them don't match and the default values don't match the ones in the manuals, they aren't even close. Trying to set values gives me "Failed to set user settings" in my Vera Edge. View answers

Does this stick battery prevent it from forgetting the network routing? I bought the UZB and whenever i unplug it from the pc or just reboot the pc, all routing is reset and it starts all over again resulting many times in dead nodes.. Is this the correct behaviour? Dow the Aeon stick do the same? View answers

briefly switches on then off when I use the attached physical switch rocker. Have cabled as per diagram for a single switch S1 to switch COM leftmost live to switch Live mains live (old style red) to rightmost live mains neutral (old style black) to N bridged N and Q1. Device is picked up in smartthings though toggle on/off doesn't do anything ... only a brief switch on and off when using attached physical switch rocker. Any ideas? View answers

How do these cope installed in metal back boxes in a brick wall? I was considering installing these in the ceiling with the light fitting, but with some of the wire configurations i have here, i will need to install deeper metallic back boxes and install behind the switches. View answer

Can this unit be used to trigger events in a controller (in my case the Homeseer Hometroller Zee S2) rather than being paired with a boiler receiver? I have two electric radiators in a room, and want to turn them on and off based on the thermostat reading. So I would create the various events to change the set point in the Homeseer, but also want the thermostat to trigger the events which turn the radiators on and off. Would that work, or should I be looking at something else? View answers

Hi all. I have a garden office heated by an electric oil filled radiator which I control with a ZWave socket. I use the temperature sensor in a movement sensor, and I link the two with a software thermostat on a Vera Lite. It works, but I'd prefer to have something where I can physically override the temperature and visually see what the current setting is. This unit looks ideal, but can it be made to switch my simple on/off ZWave socket? And can I set a schedule by simply getting my Vera to set the temperature according to my schedule, rather than using the unit's built in timer? Thanks in advance, Andrew. View answer

Normally when I think about DIN rails, I think about the 2 pole fuse/breakers in my house consumer unit. Where do these fit in ? Do they go in the same unit, next to the breaker for say the lighting ring/circuit I want to control/dim? Or do you recommend they go into a different unit - away from the main breakers etc?
