IFTTT, or "If This Then That" to give it its' full name, is a web based service that allows you to create simple logic using conditional statements called "recipes". These recipes are triggered by events from other Cloud services (called "channels") such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

By using IFTTT in your Home Automation system you can bring together devices that would otherwise be unable to be used together - for example Philips Hue, Honeywell evohome, GreenIQ, Nest, Netatmo and many more!

We regularly add new guides and would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have, email us at feedback@vesternet.com
