The sensor requires iOS/iPadOS 16.4+ or Android 8.1+, along with a compatible hub. Supported hubs include Apple TV 4K (2nd/3rd gen 128 GB), HomePod (2nd gen/mini) for Apple; SmartThings Hub v3 for Samsung; Nest Hub (2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, Nest Wifi/Pro for Google; and Echo (4th gen), Echo Hub, Echo Plus (2nd gen), Echo Show 8/10 (3rd gen), Echo Studio, or eero 6/6+/Pro 6/Pro 6E/Max 7 for Amazon Alexa.

Note: If your hub supports Matter-over-Thread but lacks a built-in Thread Border Router, an external one is required to connect the sensor.
