Der Z-Regen hat eine interne Wippe, in der der Regenwasser gesammelt wird, bis das Gewicht des Wassers die Wippe neigt. Das Kippen wird von einem Reed-Sensor registriert und auch gezählt. Basierend darauf, dass der Niederschlag dann berechnet wird.

Mit der ersten Neigung der Wippe und deshalb rechts auf den Beginn des Regens erhalten Sie den ersten Wert vom Z-Regen. Dann können Sie eine Push-Nachricht oder E-Mail erhalten, wenn noch eines Ihrer Fenster geöffnet ist und Ihre Markise automatisch schließen.

Der große Vorteil des Z-Regens ist, dass er nicht nur Regen erkennt, sondern auch die genaue Menge an Regen misst. Eine kleine kleine Dusche ist nicht immer ein Grund, Ihre Seitenfenster zu schließen. Sie können den Wert des Regens auch konfigurieren, wenn Sie über den Regen informiert werden möchten. Während eines Niederschlags meldet der Z-Rain alle 1024 Sekunden in M3 (Gesamtsumme des Regens), mm pro m2 und mm / h (aktuelle Stärke des Niederschlags) an den Smart Home Gateway.. Wenn der Regen aufhört, wird der letzte Messwert an das Gateway gesendet. Anschließend wird der Wert wieder null. Damit können Sie Ihre Gartenbewässerung mit dem Beginn eines Regens ausschalten und den nächsten Bewässerungszyklus basierend auf den Messungen des letzten Niederschlags einschalten.

Dank der Z-Welle und der Operation mit zwei Standard-AAA-Batterien kann der Z-Regen überall in Ihrem Garten platziert werden. Aufgrund der integrierten Batterie-Booster-Technologie könnte der Z-Regen je nach Weckintervall bis zu 5 Jahre lang Lebenszeit von bis zu 5 Jahren verfügen.
